Books Unread in High School

What are some of popular books on school reading lists that you never read? I bought a few for spring break in Palm Springs. No luck with Thomas Mann’s Magic Mountain. You can find some of the popular books in this list.

  1. I majored in English Literature and was an English/Language Arts teacher for four years and somehow still haven’t managed to read The Catcher in the Rye. I hope to pick it up and read it some day!

  2. I read Slaughterhouse-Five a few months ago. My teacher said it was a good book and that made me curious. I actually really liked it!

  3. We never read some of the more obvious ones, The Great Gatsby and The Catcher in the Rye are the two that come to mind. Still haven’t read them.
