Even I read things other than books from time to time … like, Magazines! What magazines/journals do you read?

Unlike most books, I hardly read magazines from cover to cover. I leaf through them quickly during small windows of time in between meetings and errands. That said, I still read a huge amount of magazines of diverse interests.

Travel: Budget Travel Magazine, National Geographic Traveler Magazine, Travel + Leisure Magazine
Fitness: Men’s Health Magazine
Men’s Interest: Details Magazine
Literary: Bookmarks, New York Review of Books
Others: Airliners World, Airports, Hyphen

Little do people know that the one magazine I peruse with continued interest, usually read from cover to cover, is Airliners World. The Economist was a regular read until I got very fed up with their anti-China innuendos. I lose interest in news magazines anyway.

  1. I admit to reading the trashy magazines but only for free while at B&N!! The only magazine that I read from cover to cover is Bookmarks.

  2. I read NewAfrican, mostly.

  3. I share you fondness of travel mags. If I can’t actually always go, it is still nice to check places out.

  4. I love magazines and am addicted. I read all types of mags – Time, People, Elle, Latina, O, US Weekly, Real Simple, etc. Its a nice break from books.

  5. I love reading magazines when I travel. If I can’t focus on a book I always fall back on my magazines. And I always love to read travel magazines because they inspire my future travel plans!
