1. Ahhhh, it’s so nice that footsteps of spring are drawing closer.
2. One of my favorite things on my desk or bureau is the leather book weight.
3. Japanese Cherry Blossom has bloomed all over the city in time for the festival next month.
4. The corner table at Cafe Flore, where I sit every morning and have coffee, is my favorite place to sit and read.
5. Sushi and bibimbap (Korean sizzling stone-pot rice with beef, over-easy rice, eggs, cucumber and radish) is delicious.
6. I love to watch out for possible hints that might give away the twist in movies.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to relax because I’ve been working double load taking over another TA’s students, tomorrow my plans include resting a bit more and reading a couple books and Sunday, I want to draft my Beijing itinerary!

Sounds like you’ve been working a lot. Hope you get a chance to relax this weekend and have fun planning your Beijing trip. I’ve got a trip planned for the end of May and I already want to start planning
Great Fill Ins! Spring should come sooner. We still have mountains of snow here.
I hope you have fun planning your Bejiing trip. Sounds like a trip of a lifetime!
You’re one of the cutest and most brainy guys at Cafe Flore! Wow, Beijing…it’s gonna be a trip of a lifetime. I can already see you in front of the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square.
I’m trying to keep up with your reading AND your travelling… an impossible task…. But, I have been to Beijing and you’ll have a very memorable trip. Just brace yourself with the vast number of people everywhere, and I mean everywhere! which means traffic jams. But lots of wonderful parks and oases of quietness here and there.

Jean@Penny Lane:
I went to Beijing when I was 7 but I hardly remember anything, so this trip will be one of a lifetime.
Thanks Jean. I love your blog and will return there to check out more.
John:
I can’t wait to go see Forbidden City and all the temples there.

Oh I have already seen, from the media and TV, that there are hordes of people in Beijing! I really wish to see the old Beijing–the “hutongs”, courtyards, the rabbit warren of back alleys and the Great Wall.
mmmm, I LOVE bibimbap…I think I’ll have that for lunch tomorrow! Thanks for playing
